Ricky sets new club record for 10k, Russ sets new junior figure!

In what is traditionally a very hot race Ricky Stevenson ran 30.09 and only finished 10th but was over a minute inside the old club record held jointly by Lewis Gamble-Thompson and Alan Stimpson - remarkably Alec Duffield and Andy Wiles also bettered the old 10k mark. Kevin Sheppard’s 11 year old junior record of 32.38 was re-written by Russ Best in a time of 31.23 and it was also beaten by Mark Shaw in a time of 32.16 which is the 3rd fastest under 17 time in the UK for 2009
